Employees are often the first to realize that there may be something seriously wrong within the Society. However, they may decide not to express their concerns because they feel that speaking up would be disloyal to their colleagues or to the Society. They may also fear harassment or victimization. In these circumstances, they may feel it would be easier to ignore the concern rather than report what may be a suspicion of malpractice.
This policy makes it clear that employees can voice their concerns without fear of victimization, subsequent discrimination or disadvantage. This Whistleblower Policy is intended to encourage and enable employees to raise serious concerns within the Society rather than overlooking a problem or seeking a resolution of the problem outside the Society.
This Policy applies to all employees and those contractors working for the Society. It is also intended to give a method for other stakeholders (suppliers, customers, members etc.) to voice their concerns about the Society’s business conduct.
If you believe you have a whistleblower complaint, please complete our Whistleblower Form and email it to SignatureWhistleblower@gmail.com. Your disclosure will be investigated by a Signature Support Board Member acting as an independent investigator.
Forms can be delivered in person between 8:30am and 4:30pm.
